How to add your phone number to a private Slack channel?
Before adding a phone number to a private Slack channel you will first have to integrate Yodel with Slack. Please have a look at the Slack integration help article on how to do this.
The first step is to select a private Slack channel in your workspace and type in:
"/invite @Yodel Phone System"
Through manually selecting which private channel will be connected to Yodel, you have control over what channels Yodel has access to of your Slack workspace.
You have now invited the Yodel Phone System App to your private Slack channel. The next step is to go into your phone number's settings here: https://manage.yodel.io/endpoints. Choose the number you want to add to the private channel and select the channel in the Slack integration drop down menu.
You should now see a message in the private Slack channel that the Yodel Phone System was successfully connected.
