Yodel is a user based service. This means that each team member in your company who needs to make or answer phone calls, needs their own user license. If you share a user's log in credentials it can cause problems. One example would be the limit of active sessions.

If too many devices are logged in to the same user you will receive this notification:


All devices that are logged in with the same user credentials will be automatically signed out when clicking on "Proceed".

In case you have more than two mobile devices that are logged in with the same user credentials, it can cause delays. When your number is being called and e.g. there are ten mobile devices logged in to the same user, Yodel will have to send the information to all ten devices which can cause delays. The mobile Yodel app will receive a delayed notification that a call is incoming if there are too many devices that are logged in with the same user credentials.


To avoid issues like the ones mentioned above, please make sure that every person in your company who should make and answer calls, needs to have their own user license. You can easily add new users to your Yodel account here: https://manage.yodel.io/users.
